On Thursday morning, November 12, 2009, Susan Daya Hamwi and Dennis A. Cohen, The Mediators/Resolutionaries of Settlement Works, hosted the first “Biz Boost! at the Yacht Spot” gathering aboard the stately Concordance motor yacht in Marina del Rey, CA.
A dozen entrepreneurs and small business owners/managers convened to devote 90 minutes to learning about and discussing how to generate new prospects, serve existing customers better, and generate greater profits.
Facilitated by Visionary Strategist Jay Aaron, the attendees posed questions related to:
Increasing Sales
Get the Word Out About Your Business
Positioning in the Market
Online Presence
Branding and Identity
Relationship Building
Discouragement
Time Management
The gathering was such a success that participants requested that we continue to hold “Biz Boost! at the Yacht Spot” regularly on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month, and extend each session from 60 to 90 minutes.
The next “Biz Boost! on the Yacht Spot” will be held:
Thursday, December 3, 2009
Aboard the Concordance in Pier 44 Marina
Marina del Rey, CA
7:00 – 7:15 AM Arrival
7:30 – 9:00 AM Formal Event
(Feel free to leave early if need be.)
Although we’ve extended the gathering from 60 to 90 minutes, the fee for registration remains the same!: Discounted from $50 per session to only $20 per session!
You and anyone you inform/invite are welcome to join us at this uplifting event. Register by clicking here or on the “Biz Boost” tab at this “Business Marketing Success Strategy” Web site.

If future “Biz Boost!” events go as well as the first, I’ll explore the possibility of doing more, as both “real-world” meetings and as “virtual” (teleconference) events.
In the meanwhile, I appreciate your comments about these events and letting others know about them and about this Web site.
